NHL Central Scouting released their Midterm rankings for the upcoming 2014 NHL Entry Draft in Philadelphia. 2 Sherwood Park Crusaders along with 3 other players from the Alberta Junior Hockey League are on the list.
Defenseman Marshall Donald and Forward Nicholas Jones are ranked #170 and #181 respectively.
Donald who has been able to be in the Crusaders lineup consistently this season has 18 points in 35 games while manning the blue line with Dane Phaneuf as the team’s top Defensive pair.
Jones, who is among the top in league scoring has vaulted himself into an admirable prospect for professional scouts. 28 goals and 57 points, the Ohio State commit not only leads the Crusaders in scoring but is tied for the league lead in points, 2nd in goals and 6th in assists.
