In a recent poll done online on the Crusaders website, it asked which Crusaders had the best chance to make Team Canada West. Andrew Taverner, Nicholas Jones, Tommy Nixon and “All Of Them” were the choices fans could make. Only 4% of the voters voted for “All Of Them”.
And that 4% correctly predicted part of the make up of Team Canada West for the 2013 World Junior A Challenge.
Taverner, Jones and Nixon will wear the Red & White from November 4th to 10th in Yartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Along with the 3 Crusaders, 8 other players from the AJHL were selected to the team. For the complete roster, click here.
Canada West will have an exhibition game Saturday November 2nd versus the USA and begins tournament play November 4th against Switzerland. For the complete schedule, click here.
