The Crusaders Alumni of The Week is former Goaltender Matt Tomkins with the Ohio State Buckeys of the B1G Ten Conference in the NCAA's Division 1. The Buckeye Junior won both of his starts last weekend versus Canisius posting a .909 Save Percentage and a 2.50 Goals Against Average, as well adding an Assists on Ohio State's second goal in Saturday's 6-4 win to complete the sweep. The Sherwood Park, AB Native has 3 wins on the season with a 2.80 G.A.A and a .911 SV%. From 2011 to 2013 Tomkins posted 44 Wins, 4 Shutouts, a 2.92 G.A.A and .912 SV% with the Crusaders.
