Chorney nets lone goal in Crusaders loss

The Sherwood Park Crusaders’ win streak has come to an end at four games.

After an overtime thriller over the Grande Prairie Storm, the Cru looked for five against the Lloydminster Bobcats. Matthew Swanson opened the scoring, and Mack Stewart and Tanner Fincaryk put the Bobcats up three heading into the final 20 minutes. Carter Chorney was able to break Kolby Thornton’s shutout bid with less than a minute left in the third, but Chad MacLean iced it to end Wednesday night’s contest with a 4-1 decision.

Sherwood Park now heads out on the road for three, starting with the Brooks Bandits on Friday, December 10th.
