Sherwood Park, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders have acquired 99? forward Jacob Kendall from the Camrose Kodiaks in exchange for 01? forward Brett Wieschorster and future considerations.
Kendall is now in his fourth season of junior hockey and spent all of them with the Kodiaks. He?s played in 191 games scoring 129 points (69 goals, 60 assists). The 6?2?, 192 lbs forward is coming off a career year where he scored 27 goals and 50 points. This season, Kendall is on pace to have another career year with 23 points (15 goals, 8 assists) in 24 games.
?Brett (Wieschorster) has been a heavy player for the past few seasons since we acquired him from the Drumheller Dragons,? said General Manager Kyle Chase. ?He?s a really good teammate, works hard, plays at both ends of the rink and is super competitive. Wieschorster played in 78 regular-season games for the Crusaders and scored 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists). He also played in 12 postseason games all coming last season. The Sherwood Park, AB, native joined the organization in 2018 after being acquired from the Drumheller Dragons.
