SHERWOOD PARK, AB – Sherwood Park Crusaders Forward Ryan Cox along with 15 other Alberta Junior Hockey League players have been named to the 2018 Inter Pipeline AJHL All-Academic Team.
The inaugural list is comprised of one player from each member club that have shown dedication to academics at the secondary and post-secondary school levels.
“It’s an honor to be named to the all-academic team. Academics have always been important to my family and I, and this is a testament to that.” Said Cox.
“Academics are especially important for Junior A players who are trying to obtain a scholarship and hopefully this can help me achieve my goal of doing that.” Added the Crusader leading goal scorer.
Cox, in his third year in the AJHL remains uncommitted and certainly is a viable candidate for NCAA schools at the Division One level as he is second in scoring with 56 points on the season so far.
