The Sherwood Park Crusaders finish up their three-game home stand against the Spruce Grove Saints.
A fast-paced matchup, with no goals coming in the first period, but several good chances. Bruce MacGregor finally broke through for the Cru late in the second to tie the game at one, his first goal in nearly 600 days. Unfortunately, that was all Sherwood Park could put together, as the Saints score two unanswered to take the 3-1 decision. Starter Gus Bylin was stellar in the loss, making 23 saves.
The Crusaders now head back on the road, making the trip to Drayton Valley to visit the Thunder on Tuesday.
