The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the hiring of Victoria Mccray as the team’s new Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager.
“I am happy to start this new journey with the Sherwood Park Crusaders. I am very passionate about improving overall athlete well-being and looking forward to contributing to this great group of athletes. I have already had such a warm welcome from the coaching and administrative staff, so I am very excited to get to work and get the season going.”
“We are very excited to have Vicky join the Crusaders,” commented Crusaders general manager Adam Sergerie. “The care and treatment of our players have always been important, and with the addition of Vicky, it ensures our players will be well taken care of. Vicky’s professionalism and background on the AT side of things are very impressive. We are very lucky to land her, I believe the players and staff will benefit greatly from having her with the team.”
Mccray joins the Crusaders following her time with the Okanagan Hockey Academy – Edmonton Campus. Prior to her tenure with the Academy, Mccray graduated from Sheridan College, where she earned her degree in Athletic Therapy. In advance of her time at Sheridan, Mccray graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with both a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and in Human Nutrition.
Mccray replaces long-time Athletic Therapist Josh Armstrong, who will be departing the organization for a new opportunity.
The Crusaders would like to welcome Vicky and the Mccray family to the organization.
