The Sherwood Park Crusaders will battle the Whitecourt Wolverines in the 2nd half of Home and Home series to open up the 2013-14 season. The Cru fell 8-3 to the Wolverines on the road to open up the season. Sherwood Park will look to use home ice advantage to get the first win of the 2013-14 season, as it will be the 35th Home Opener in franchise history.
