Crusaders lose fourth straight game

The Sherwood Park Crusaders’ had a strong first period in the RJ Lalonde Arena, but the Bonnyville Pontiacs, namely Bodee Weiss, proved to be too much.

Mitchell Joss opened the scoring, and Carmelo Crandell retook the lead after a Pontiacs goal, but just 40 seconds later and the game was knotted back at two a side. Kash Rasmussen netted his second of the game which stood as the lone goal of the middle frame, and two more in the third cemented a 5-2 decision for the Crusaders. Marek Pocherewny made the start, and stopped 43 of 48 shots in the contest. Several late chances for the Cru presented themselves, but Bodee Weiss was equal to the task.

Sherwood Park returns home to host the Drumheller Dragons on Friday November 26th.
