The Sherwood Park Crusaders have added a little veteran presence to their lineup with the acquisition of '93 Born Forward Caleb Belter and '93 Born Defenseman Curtis Toneff from the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for '95 Born Forward Jake Mykitiuk.
Belter, an Edmonton, Alberta native had spent the previous 3 seasons with the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League. Belter has 3 goals and 11 points in 27 games with the Saints this season.
Toneoff, from Nanaimo, British Columbia has played in every Junior A league in Western Canada, he was acquired by Spruce Grove from the Merritt Centennials of the British Columbia Hockey League. Toneff had also spent time the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL this season accumulating 13 points in 24 games.
The deal sees the Crusaders with four 20 year olds on their roster after starting the season with only one (DIllon Massie).
