On this episode of Crusaders Pregame, host Dawson Petryshen recaps Sherwood Park’s loss to Fort McMurray, and looks ahead to a bounce back contest against the Drayton Valley Thunder.
Riding a four game point streak, the Crusaders had some good momentum built up going into this game against the Oil Barons. Ryder Matter opened the scoring, but Ashton McNelly got Sherwood Park back into things with a goal on the powerplay. After that, it was all in favor of the Mob. Taige Harding let one rip on the powerplay, and three more unanswered to close out the game, 5-1 in favor of Fort McMurray.
Dawson also spoke with Ashton McNelly after practice Thursday, about where the team went wrong and how they can correct things against the Thunder.
