On this episode of Crusaders Pregame, host Dawson Petryshen explains Sherwood Park’s wins this past weekend, and looks ahead to a tough matchup against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
After a tough shootout loss to the Whitecourt Wolverines, the Crusaders were simply not satisfied with just one point. Sherwood Park got unanswered goals from six different players, and Gus Bylin made 25 of 26 saves en route to a 6-1 victory. Sunday was a touch closer, but three goals from Mitchell Joss and another solid goaltending performance from Marek Pocherewny gave the Crusaders a 5-2 win over the Olds Grizzlys.
Dawson also spoke with Tyler Miller ahead of tonight’s matchup on how the team has performed as of late, and what they need to do to take down a hot Oil Barons squad.
