On this episode of Crusaders Pregame, hosts Zach Marks and Dawson Petryshen recap the huge win over the Drumheller Dragons, and look to see how the Cru can keep things rolling against the Lloydminster Bobcats.
After a tough loss in Bonnyville that saw Ashton McNelly get suspended and Austin Cook leave the game with an apparent injury, things were not looking up for Sherwood Park. However, that didn’t stop them as they hosted Drumheller and exploded out of the gate. Bode Hagan, Zac Maxwell, and Mitchell Joss all converted for three goals in the first 20 minutes, and Jaron Desnoyers got himself a couple in the second to chase Dragons goaltender Eric Ward. While there were no goals in the second, the Crusaders held on and got Gus Bylin his first AJLH shutout, who made 30 saves on the evening.
Dawson had a chance to speak with Zac Maxwell ahead of tonight’s matchup, on his three point night and how the team needs to respond to the win.
