Crusaders Sign Tyler Pang

The Sherwood Park Crusaders have signed 1999 born defenceman Tyler Pang.

Pang is a native of Victoria, British Columbia, and spent last season playing for the Victoria Cougars of the VIJHL, recording 27 points (7 goals and 20 assists) in 48 games. During the Cougars post-season run Pang contributed 13 points over a 16 game span.

He spent his final year of minor hockey in his hometown of Victoria with the South Island Royals of the BCMML. Pang skated 40 times for the Royals that season scoring 21 points (1 goal and 20 assists) whilst recording 28 penalty minutes.

“Tyler will be a dynamic defenseman for us,” Head Coach Adam Manah told us. “He skates well, is very creative with the puck, likes to activate into the rush, and plays an offensive style of game.”

Crusader fans will be able to see Pang and the rest of the Crusaders hit the ice at training camp starting August 25th.
