Sherwood Park, AB: Sherwood Park, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of forward Walter Zacher for the 2020-21 season.
Zacher, 17, joins the Crusaders from the Nichols School of the CISAA in Buffalo, New York.
?We?ve been closely monitoring Walter (Zacher) throughout the season,? said General Manager Kyle Chase. ?He?s a high-end goalscorer who has great hands, loves to finish the puck, and plays the game in the right way.?
The 5?10, 164 lbs forward had a terrific 2019/20 season. In 51 games, Zacher led his team in points in 73 in 51 games and found the back of the net 47 times.
?He comes from a really good family, and we?re thrilled to have him as part of our group. We look forward to having him in a Crusaders uniform this season,? said Kyle Chase
The Crusaders would like to welcome Walter, his parents Darcy and Rick, and the rest of the Zacher family to the organization.
