Sherwood Park, AB – The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of Zafir Rawji for the 2018/19 season.
Rawji is a 2001-born forward from Edmonton Alberta. The 5'10″ 172 lbs forward spent this past season with the South Side Athletic Club (SSAC) Midget AAA’s of the Alberta Junior Hockey league. Last season, Rawji produced close to a point per game average scoring 31 points (16 goals, 15 assists) in 31 games, and was second on his team in scoring.
Rawji becomes the ninth player to sign with the Crusaders this offseason and becomes the sixth former SSAC player to be part of Sherwood Park’s active roster – Jacob Franczak, Will Zapernick, Blair Bush, Arjun Atwal, and Connor Hart.
