It was game one of the playoffs in Bonnyville, as the Crusaders hit the road to take on the Pontiacs in the first round for the 7th time in 10 years. It also marked the playoff debut for rookie goaltender Brandon Vogel, who came up huge in his first game with 43 of 44 shots in the Crusaders 2-1 victory! Both Ben McLeod and Cam Reagan also got their first AJHL playoff goals!
