The Sherwood Park Crusaders would like to congratulate Defenseman Josh Healey on making Team Canada West for the World Junior A Challenge, November 5th to 11th in Yartmouth, Nova Scotia.
“It’s well deserved. We are excited for him and thrilled he has the opportunity to wear the Maple Leaf.” Healey’s Head Coach Tim Fragle said.
The 2nd year Crusader will be joined by Goaltender Curtis Skip of the Grand Prairie Storm and Spruce Grove Saint Forward Dylan Richard as the only AJHL players on the Canada West squad.
Healey is the 2nd Crusader in as many years to make Team Canada West, which won gold at last year’s event in Langley, BC.
