The Crusaders were eliminated from the 2017 Gas Drive Cup Playoffs at the hands of the Bonnyville Pontiacs. 5-2 the final score in Game 4 as the Pontiacs take the Best of Five series 3-1 and win their first series against the Crusaders since 2011. Coincidentally, 2011 was the last time the Crusaders failed to win an opening round series.
