Sherwood Park, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of forward Logan Hauer (2003) from the Calgary Flames U18 program for the 2021-22 season.
“Logan (Hauer) is a great leader and all around strong player,” said General Manager Kyle Chase. “His leadership both on and off the ice will be a welcomed addition for the 2021/22 season. He is a big body that can play in all areas of the game.”
Hauer is a 6’2″, 194 lb forward from Calgary, Alberta. He spent his U18 AAA hockey with the Calgary Flames of the Alberta Elite Hockey League.
In his first season with the Flames, Hauer dressed in 32 games scoring five goals and 23 points. He followed that up with a strong postseason, scoring one goal and five points in seven games. During their brief 2021 season, Hauer was named the captain. In five games, he scored a team leading four goals.
Hauer also played in one game for the Canmore Eagles and picked up an assist in that game.
The Crusaders would like to welcome Logan, his parents Trina and Darryl, and the rest of the Hauer family to the organization.
