Sherwood Park, AB: We are pleased to welcome the newest addition to the Sherwood Park Crusaders forward, Bruce MacGregor (2001).
“We are very happy and excited to add Bruce to our line-up,” said General Manager and Head Coach Adam Manah. “He is a player we have wanted since he entered the league a few years ago. He brings size, experience, skill, and a ton of intangibles to the table for our hockey team.”
MacGregor is a Sherwood Park native who is entering his fourth season of junior hockey. He has 125 games played in the AJHL split between Spruce Grove, Drumheller and Bonnyville. MacGregor has scored 14 careers goals and 55 points.
Last season, MacGregor was a member of the Bonnyville Pontiacs. In 14 games, the 6’1, 170 lb forward scored two points and was named an assistant captain for the Pontiacs.
“He is a player that competes and works extremely hard, plays with a lot of heart, and will be an important component to our leadership group moving into the 21-22 season. We are counting on him to be a guy that can contribute offensively, play a 200-foot game, and be relied upon in critical situations.”
The Crusaders would like to welcome Bruce and the MacGregor family to the organization.
