Saturday night Team Canada West took home the Gold medal at the 2015 World Junior A Challenge in Ontario, winning 2-1 over Russia. The Gold marked the fifth time a Crusader has medaled at the event. Maltby joins former Crusaders, Andrew Taverner, Nicholas Jones, Tommy Nixon, Josh Healey, Peter Quenneville and Cody Kunyk to take home hardware from the event. It also marked Tim Fragle's first medal at the event as he was an Assistant Coach in 2014.
