Schaufler makes a statement, Carter Savoie lights up NCAA

This edition of our alumni round-up begins with one of the biggest breakouts currently in the NCAA : Carter Savoie, with the University of Denver, put up six points against Air Force, improving his total to 11 points in just four games. As well, teammate  Mike Benning has three goals in four games.

Not to be outdone, Carter’s brother Matthew Savoie has 12 points in seven games with the WHL’s Winnipeg Ice. The forward is a top prospect available for the 2022 NHL draft.

Defeceman Loeden Schaufler, playing for the Grant Macewan Griffins, has collected three assists in three games this season.

In the Capital Junior Hockey League, Cameron Aucoin is having a career year, posting 10 goals and 16 assists in 10 games with the Morinville Jets.
