Lloydminster, SK: The Sherwood Park Crusaders head East to take on the Lloydminster Bobcats in the Border City Wednesday night, with the Cru needing one more win to clinch a first-round bye.
The Crusaders have not been short of goals. They have netted 21 times in the past four games, and 13 of those goals came last weekend against the Grande Prairie Storm (7-5) and the Bonnyville Pontiacs (6-4).
One player who is looking to add more goals to his tally is Carter Savoie (The University of Denver). The forward needs two more goals to hit 50 for the season. Another player who is keen to hit a milestone is captain Arjun Atwal. Having played his 200th junior career game over the weekend, the No. 20 needs five more points to get 100 this season.
The Lloydminster Bobcats have won one game this month, defeating the Drayton Valley Thunder 3-2 last Saturday. Prior to that win, the team had not won a game since January 17th.
