Sherwood Park, AB: The Crusaders go into Sunday?s game against the Calgary Canucks off the back of a loss over the Brooks Bandits.
The Canucks have struggled to hit the net all season, and the team?s form has shown this. Brad Moran?s side currently sits bottom of the AJHL South Division and has a 6-38-2 record. The team has won one game so far this month thanks to a 4-3 shootout win over the Lloydminster Bobcats.
Defence has also been a major problem, with the team conceding 24 goals in three games. In those three games, the Canucks lost 8-0 twice and 8-1.
Jeremy Chu leads the team with 16 points in 41 games, and local talent Dylan Clark leads the team in goal-scoring with eight goals.
The Canucks headed up the QE2 earlier this month to face the Crusaders in Sherwood Park. The Cru left the ice 4-2 winners thanks to goals from Carter Savoie (University of Denver), Arjun Atwal, Blake Sydlowski and Connor Hart.
Fans can catch the game live at Average Joe?s Sports Bar in Sherwood Park at 2:00 p.m.
