Sherwood Park, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders head North of the province for back-to-back games against the Grande Prairie Storm on Friday and Saturday night.
The Cru last faced the Storm in November, with Sherwood Park leaving 3-2 winners. Carter Savoie (University of Denver) and Tanner Fincaryk scored the goals, and Jordan Frey stopped 30 out of 32 shots.
The two teams hit the ice at Sherwood Park Arena earlier this month. The Crusaders led 2-0 thanks to Jacob Kendall and Reid Irwin, but the Storm fought back to claim the win 4-2.
Grande Prairie goes into Friday night?s game having lost their last two games on home ice. The team suffered back-to-back shootout losses to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, and the Storm will hope to respond with two wins in a row over the weekend.
