The teams match up for the final time this season and three days after they played in Sherwood Park. The Cru found themselves 1-0 down, but they had a brace in the second period and scored six goals to win 7-2.
Forward Jacob Franczak has a good record against the Thunder this season, scoring four times in the last two home meetings. He scored twice against Drayton Valley last month and repeated the same feat last weekend, with all the goals going in from close range.
The Thunder have made their home ice a tough place for visiting teams this month. They have won three of the last four games at Drayton Valley Ominplex. The last win came against the Lloydminster Bobcats, where the Thunder won 6-3.
